Beverley A. Rickerson, 72, of Kearney, died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney on Saturday, April 11, 2009. There will be no services. Her body will be cremated.      

Survivors include her mother, Opal Brucker of Lexington; daughter Vickie Cochran of Lexington; sons, Loren Dean Franks and Bradley Franks of Kearney; daughter Nancy (Mike) Gowlovech of Bel Aire, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Dee Neal of Thedford and four grandchildren.     

She was born April 24, 1936 to Charles & Opal (Novotny) Brucker in Marysville, Kan. She graduated from Lexington High School in 1954 and was also a graduate of LPN School. She married Harry Franks in 1955. They were later divorced. She worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital.
