Randy Adams, 54, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington following a courageous fight with cancer.
He was born March 25, 1953, at Lexington, Nebraska to Robert H. and Catherine M. (Purintun) Adams.
Randy grew up on the farm and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1971. He played football in school and made the All-State Team in Class B in 1970. His team was the Nebraska Class B State Champion. Coach Bob Devaney tried to entice Randy to play for the University of Nebraska, but farming was in his blood and decided to stay on the farm.
He enjoyed farming, Fantasy Football, being with his buddies, but, most especially being with his oldest nephew, Adam.
