Ron Sellers, 64, of Aurora, Colorado, formally of Lexington, NE passed away unexpectedly, March 2, 2011. Ron was born November 22, 1947 in Lexington, NE to Marion and Dorothy Sellers.

He graduated from Lexington High School in 1965. After high school Ron served four years in the Navy serving on the USS Repose in Vietnam as a hospital corpsman. Ron continued his education at Lincoln General School of Nursing and upon graduation worked in the emergency rooms of several hospitals, before taking a job with Qwest where he was the director for employee health case management until his retirement.

Ron volunteered much of his time and talents to St Andrews Episcopal Church in Denver, CO, and also served many years as a member of the board of directors for Bethany House in Denver, CO.

His smile, kindness and quirky sense of humor will be missed by those that knew and loved him. Ron was preceded in death by Bob Davis, his partner of 40 years, his mother and father, his sister, Sharon and grandparents. Ron is survived by his sister, Anita (David) Kucera, Central City, NE and nephew, John (Tara) Kucera and great-niece Shaylin, of Central City NE.

It was Ron’s wish was to be cremated and his inurnment was in Saint Andrews Episcopal Church Columbarium in Denver, CO.
