Philip O'Keefe Crowley, age 66, of Houston, Texas, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Houston. A funeral mass was held at on Friday, April 25, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, in Houston, Texas. Philip O'Keefe Crowley, age 66, of Houston, Texas, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Houston. Survivors include his mother, Edith Crowley of Lexington; his wife of 38 years, Ann; three daughters, Maggie (Corey Brown), Anna and Mary; and grandchildren, Tobias and Adelaide Brown. He was preceded in death by his father, A. Keefe Crowley, in December 1981.   

Philip was born Nov. 5, 1941 in McCook, and grew up in Lexington. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1959, where he lettered in track and football. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Boy Scouts National Order of the Arrow. Philip served in the US Army as a Sergeant in military intelligence from 1961 to 1965. He received a B.A. in journalism in 1971 and J.D. in 1974, both from Creighton University in Omaha. He practiced law in Omaha and moved to Houston in 1986 with the merger of InterNorth and Houston Natural Gas that created Enron. He retired from Enron in 2001. Philip had a passion for reading, enjoyed politics and music, and was actively involved in youth sports.
