Holly A. (Large) Comer, 64, of Newton, Iowa, formerly of Lexington, died Feb. 25, 2011.
Funeral services are 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 02, 2011 at the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church, 1000 E. 12th St. S., in Newton.
Interment will follow the funeral service and coffee time on Wednesday, March 02, 2011 at the Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg, Iowa.
Visitation was Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the funeral home with family greeting friends from 5:30-8 p.m.
Holly was born Aug. 29, 1946 to Herbert and Madeline (Kimberly) Large. She was a 1964 graduate of St. Ann's High School in Lexington.
Holly was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship in Newton.
Holly loved her family and friends verymuch; she lived and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Those left to honor Holly's memory are her husband, Gene of Newton; daughter, Mindy Volk of Jackson, Miss.; three sons, Mitch Volk of Oklahoma City, Okla., Ruben Comer of Knoxville, Tenn., and Gary (Wendy) Comer of Knoxville; her grandson, Mason Volk and two sisters, Colleen Bowers of Chicago, Ill., and Sue Pritzker of Orlando, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and madeline Large and sister, Valerie O'Brien.
