Alice M. Vollmer, 74, of Kearney, Nebraska passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Kearney Regional Medical Center.
A book signing and time of remembrance will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
Family inurnment will be held later at the Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington.
Alice was born September 29, 1946 in Lexington, Nebraska to Raymond and Agnes (O'Meara) VanCleave.
She was united in marriage to Larry Vollmer on December 31, 1966 in Lexington. To this union one son, Douglas was born.
Alice was a kind person who cared for others and was willing to help anyone in need. She enjoyed her retirement and tending to her flowers and her yard.
Survivors include her husband; Larry of Kearney, one son; Douglas of Kearney, two brothers; Thomas VanCleave of Warren, Ohio and James VanCleave of Blair; one sister; Mary and husband James Bliven of Lexington, sisters-in-law; Sandy VanCleave of Lordstown, Ohio, Pamela Vollmer of Lexington and Beverly and husband Mick Weaver of Lexington.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Dennis VanCleave and Robert VanCleave.
