Name: Barbara (Coons) Wheeler

Now Living In: Lexington
Comments: Barbara married Gene Wheeler and had Tepricia in 1960 and Randy in 1962. After a short time away from Lexington they returned when Tepricia was a newborn. When the kids were in elementary school Gene put together a bus camper and the family "lived" at Johnson Lake every weekend during the summers and spent at least a week in August in the Colorado Rockies. One trip was made in the bus to Yellowstone. Boating was added the second year of camping and was enjoyed often. Three newer campers were used during the years after the kids moved out. Gene passed away from cancer and it's complications on January 5, 2005. Barbara has since kept very busy with several remodeling projects in their home. There is a trip to Alaska for June and July just after the class reunion. She also enjoys visiting the kids in Seward and York, respectively. There are four grandkids from Seward, ages 23-12 and four from York, ages 31-24. Also eight great grands from the York bunch. Tepricia submitted for Mom because she has not quite gotten a computer up and running.

Comments: My husband, Feenan, and I retired in 1995 and in 1996 moved from College Station, TX to Bend, OR. We both volunteer at Bend Area Habitat for Humanity - Feenan on the construction site and me in the office.
We have two children = David and Lori. David is 41 and just engaged to be married in July 2007. Lori has been married since 1991 to Jason Hulti and they have two children (Erin 10 and Jacob 7). David lives in College Station TX and works at Texas A&M University's College of Business. Lori and Jason live in Astoria, OR where Jason is captain of the oil response ship RESPONDER and Lori is teaching special education. We like canoeing on the many rivers and lakes in OR and traveling wherever.
