Jeffrey B. Shriver, age 51 of Bottineau died Friday in a tragic automobile accident. There will be a prayer vigil Wednesday October 11, 2017 at 8:00pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau and funeral mass will be held on Thursday October 12, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Marks Catholic Church also in Bottineau.

Jeffrey was born to Vern Shriver and Donna Mclain in Lexington, NE. He attended school in Lexington and graduated in 1984. In 1985, he married Daneen Smith and they had two Daughters Crystal and Heather. This marriage later ended. In 1995 he met Echoe Brown and they were married in April 1997 and had four children together, Jayhawk, Rhegan, Jacob, and Joshua.

Jeff served in the USMC from 90-94 and served during in Desert Storm. Jeff loved his family, flag and Country beyond measure. His greatest passion was fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was a dedicated employee and community member. He worked for Wal-Mart for 10 years helping to set up new Wal-Mart’s with their management teams. During his time working for Wal-Mart Jeff and his family lived in 5 different states, finally deciding to make Bottineau, North Dakota their final home. He became the manager of Jason's Super Foods in Bottineau in 2017. In every community Jeff became very active by volunteering for different organizations and donating whatever was needed.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Echoe, Bottineau, ND; Daughters Heather Peil, North Platte, NE; Rhegan Shriver, Bottineau, ND; Sons Jayhawk Shriver, Jacob Shriver and Joshua Shriver of Bottineau, ND; Father Vernon Shriver Wiggins, CO; Mother Donna Mclain, Lexington, NE; Sister Laura Shriver, Lexington, NE; several extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and daughter Crystal.

Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Friends may sign the online register book at www.nerofuneralhome.net.
