Craig Alan Reil, known to many as "Craigar," peacefully passed away on February 18, 2024, in Papillion, NE, at the age of 60. He was born on November 2, 1963, in Lexington, NE, to Joyce and the late Ervin Reil.

Craig had a successful career as a sales and use tax accountant, working for companies such as HDR Inc, MFS Communications Inc, and Peter Kiewit and Sons' Inc. During his time at Peter Kiewit, he traveled extensively as a Project Business Manager in the Southern United States, contributing significantly to the building of power plants.

Outside of work, Craig had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy. He was a skilled bowler, achieving two perfect 300 games and earning a place in the Bowling National Hall of Fame. He also enjoyed golfing, watching the Indy 500 and Nascar races, and showcasing his grilling expertise as a master chef. Craig was a dedicated fan of the Nebraska Huskers, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Craig will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Jill Reil; stepsons, Jared Grell, Nicholas (Alyssa) Grell, and Nathaniel Grell; mother, Joyce Reil; brothers, Jason (Kayla) Reil and Bryan Reil; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Ervin Reil, infant sister Tracy Reil, and brother Troy Reil.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Craig's life will be held at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion, NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Operation Barbecue Relief, PO Box 414378, WS #198, Kansas City, Missouri 64141; or Town and County Humane Society, 14110 S. 84th Street, Papillion, Nebraska 68046, in memory of Craig Reil.

The compassionate staff at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion, NE, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements. May Craig's memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
