OBITUARY

A one car accident, near Julesburg, Colorado claimed the life of a Lexington man and injured three others according to the Colorado State Patrol on June 27, 1977.

Rex Johnson, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson, Lexington, was killed when a car in which he was riding was involved in an accident two miles west of Kennesburg, Colorado on Colorado 76.
Funeral services for Rex Boyd Johnson were held Wednesday afternoon, June 29th, at Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Gary Warner officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.

He was born August 12, 1954, to Ralph and Opel Spiegal Johnson at Albion. After the family moved to Lexington several years ago, he attended Lexington schools and graduated from Lexington High School in 1972.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson, Lexington; four brothers, Ralph D. Johnson, Fulton, New York; Robert Johnson, Millard, John Johnson., Albion and Tim Johnson, Lexington; five sisters, Mrs. Karen Kelly, Albion, Mrs. Marilyn Fischer, Burwell, Mrs. Donna Eltiste, Omaha, Miss Linda Johnson, Burwell and Miss Susan Johnson, Lexington.
