Michael L. (Mike) Ramsey, 53, of Lincoln, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at OUR HOME in Lincoln. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, at OUR HOME in Lincoln, and at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 14, at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with private family inurnment. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sisters, Barb (Kevin) Bloemker of Fremont, and Pat (Jim) Longly of Lexington; nieces and nephews, Trish (JC) Sowers of Robertsville, Mo., Brad (Kathy) Bloemker of Warrensburg, Mo., Beth (Doug) Nolte of Andover, Kan., Ted (Karin) Bloemker of Fremont, Sami (Jim) Ady of North Platte, Chris Longly of Lincoln; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
His parents, Lloyd L. and Margaret Koch Ramsey, preceded him in death.
Mike was born Dec.30, 1952, at Lexington, to Lloyd and Margaret (Koch) Ramsey.
He attended Lexington Public Schools, graduating in 1971. He enjoyed his art, music, motorcycles and wrestling in high school. For many years he worked in the Lexington area as a welder, then he moved to Broken Bow and worked for his brother-in-law at Palmer Monument Company. In recent years he resided at OUR HOME in Lincoln.
