Margaret A. Zimmerman, 72, of Lexington, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.   

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington with the Rev. Caroline Vickery officiating.   

There will be a private inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery near Lexington.Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.   

She is survived by two sons, Robb (Kim) Zimmerman of Owatonna. Minn., and Steve (Tiffany) Zimmerman of Everett, Wash.; two daughters, Sheri (Keven) Aldridge of Littleton, Colo., and Margerey (Steve) Fox of Highland Ranch, Colo.; one brother, Dave (Mary Ruth) Gauger of Raymond, Wash.; one sister, Miriam J. Butler; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and special friends, Bill and wife Deloris Livingston of Lexington.   

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother John P. Gauger of Lexington.   

She was born Sept. 23, 1934, in Fremont, to Earl L. Gauger and Esther B. (Berg) Gauger.   

She graduated from Lexington High School in 1953. After graduating from Principia College near St. Louis, Mo., in 1958, she taught physical education at Kearney State College. She also worked as a teacher's aide in the Lexington schools and as a receptionist at a local chiropractic clinic in Lexington.   Memorials are kindly suggested to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
